bike trip...

Today we packed up the bikes and trailer and rode down the Soo Line Trail!

We enjoy going out to the garden each day to see what is ready to be picked!! Today we picked some carrots!



And a zucchini!!

How does your garden grow??

VERY WELL!! Despite all the hail we received earlier this summer...our garden is producing remarkably well!! We have been enjoying all the yummy fresh veggies from our garden! First it was lettuce & radishes and now we are getting carrots, zuchini & peas!!! I am ready to make a garden addition for next year...that will take some convincing for Miles to go along with that!! ;)

The carrots could use a little more grow time...but they kids just LOVE them!! We're going to plant another row this week.

Grandma Lillian's 95th Birthday!! (yes 95)

On Sunday we celebrated Grandma Lillian's 95th birthday! (Miles mom's mom) She is such an amazing lady and so much fun to be around!

Deck Progress!

Miles has been busy this month! He's building a deck!! Here is the progress so far!



The holes he dug (by hand) were big enough to fit the kids!

As of tonight he only has about 7 more boards to go on the top! We have already been enjoying it! The kids have already eaten lunch and snacks on the new deck!!

Silly MN weather!

Only in Minnesota can you be wearing shorts one day and winter coats the next!!
